Obituary of Melissa May Manuel

Melissa May Manuel, “Missy”, 37, passed away unexpectedly on September 23,2018. She was born in Sayre, Pa.; daughter of William K. Manuel, Sr. (Wanita Manuel) and Lois M. Manuel (Gerald Nye). She is survived by her two daughters and son: Sonya Rogers (Mikey Smith), Aubrey Manuel (Dillon Roman), and Trent Browne; two wonderful grandsons: O'Von Steigler and Josiah Rogers; one sister and two brothers: Betty Shipman (Charles Romig), Vincent Guiles (Danielle McMahon), and William K. Manuel, Jr. (Jennifer Cole); and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday September 27, 2018 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY. Missy loved the Derby; winning first place in her first competition, ever! She loved spending time with her kids and grandbabies, and very much enjoyed listening to music. She would give the shirt off her back if it meant putting a smile on someone’s face. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Missy will be missed dearly and never forgotten!
