Richard S. “Libby” Liberatore, 85, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and children on Saturday, October 20, 2018.  Richard was predeceased by his parents, Fedele and Maize Liberatore, brother, Dominic; sisters, Flora, Helen, Jeri, Sylvia and Mary, niece, Linda; his furry friend, Punky.  He is survived by his wife of  60 years, Margaret “Maggie Ann” Raitt Liberatore; his children, Donna and Tony Frederick, Karen and Gail Liberatore, Rick Liberatore, Tricia Liberatore, James and Isabelle Liberatore, Amy and John Rozmer, his awesome grandchildren, Eric (Kelly) Frederick, Erin (Kyle) Jacobs, Amanda Rozmer, Nicholas Rozmer; five great-grandchildren, Barrett, Beckett, Brodie, Baylor, Elijah.  Richard retired from AT&T after several years of loyal service.  He loved his faith, family, dancing, and golf.  Richard’s family would like to thank the entire staff on the Lourdes Hospital Cardiac Wing for their loving care. Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1110 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin, NY.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Owego, NY.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made in Richard S. Liberature’s memory to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY  13760.  Condolences may be made to Richard’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
