Obituary of Gene L. Johns

Gene L."Geno" Johns, 61, of Owego passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018.  Gene was predeceased by his parents, Ellsworth and Mary Johns.  He is survived by his siblings, Kevin and Catherine Johns, Joseph Johns and Theresa Mullineaux, Mary and Michael Stephens, Stella and Gary Petzold; his children, Grover and Big Bird; several nieces, nephews and cousins; along with dear friends, Ernie Hall, Dave and Jodi Seaver, John and Beverly Hitchings, Aaron and Stacy Reagal, Nikki Fabi and Fred Barley.  Gene owned and operated Video Tech in Owego for over 31 years.  The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Lourdes Oncology and Hospice for their care and support of Geno.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Gene L.
