Helen S. Reynolds, 99, of Owego passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.  Helen was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Reynolds; son, Dennis Reynolds; three sisters, Mary Slater, Jean Gazdowicz and Stella Czochanski; one brother, Edward Polewacz.  She is survived by her son, Thomas Reynolds; daughter-in-law, Joan Reynolds; five grandchildren, Kathy Reynolds (Tim Doane), Jill Reynolds, Linda Reynolds, Theresa and Colin Wilson, Daniel Reynolds; one great-grandson, Callum Wilson; several nieces and nephews.  Helen was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Alexander and Sophie Polewacz.  She moved to Owego in 1945.  Helen joined St. Patrick’s Church that same year and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She worked as a seamstress for Mary Lou Dress Company in Owego for many years.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church 300 Main Street, Owego.  Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.  Condolences may be made to Helen’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
