Obituary of Nicholas Holobosky

Nicholas “Hobo” Holobosky, 84, joined his wife of 60 years, Rosemary Holobosky in Heaven on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Nick is survived by his four children, Nicholas Holobosky and Sheree Brigham, Catherine Holobosky and Shonni Hinrichsen, Tracie Holobosky, Michael Holobosky; four grandchildren, Kelsey (Joshua) Harmon, Nicholas (Jennifer) Hrehor, Andrew Hrehor and Ashley Thrush, Sarah Hrehor; three great-grandchildren, John Michael Hrehor, Joseph Robert Hrehor, Hoyt Walter Harmon; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Holobosky was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked his whole life as a plaster mason by trade. Nick will be remembered for his kind spirit, great sense of humor and love of his family and friends. He was a life member of the Masonic Temple of Endicott, Kalurah Temple of Binghamton, enjoyed umpiring, golf, the N.Y. Giants and N.Y. Yankee, polka dancing and having fun. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main Street, Owego, NY. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday Evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
