I spent a-lot of time in my younger years living with Unc and Aunt Carol especially after my father Bill Stanley died at a young age. I use to go on many of truck rides with Unc- I remember one time - we were hauling salt to Brooklyn and I needed to use the bathroom - Unc pulled over and told me to go under the rig- well every trucker that passed blew his horn - when I got back in the truck Unc was laughing so hard he had tears falling- I asked what was so funny - he stated that “ every time a truck went by it lit the underside up and my bare ass showed like the neon moon” well I can tell you that never happened again!! Unc was one for telling good jokes and when he came south he always had his reel-a-reel with him showing movies of us children growing up. Unc you were a father and mentor to me and I will always be grateful ! I love you and will truly miss you. Sharon Stanley Gibson- daughter of Bill & Judith Stanley
