Alice R. Hollenbeck, 85, of Willseyville, NY, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024. Alice was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Grace Vanderpool; four sisters, Lucy Norris, Julia Quick, Mary Doucett, Arta Swansbrough; her husband of 39 years, William Hollenbeck; son, Timothy Cornwell; two daughters, Jacquelyn Horton, Julie Ann Hollenbeck; grandson, James E. Decker, III. Alice is survived by her five children and their spouses, Terry Decker, James and Rachel Decker, Wayne and Sue Cornwell, John and Karen Hollenbeck, William and Laura Hollenbeck; son-in-law, Jeffrey Horton; daughter-in-law, Margarite Cornwell; brother and sister-in-law, Art and Shirley Vanderpool; sister, Rena Walters; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Burial will be in the Spring in the Smith Valley Cemetery, Willseyville, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
