Obituary of Roman Leonard Heath

Please share a memory of Roman to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Roman Leonard Heath, 10, was called to be with the Lord on Good Friday, March 29, 2024. Roman was a neurologically fragile child who died from complications of his medical condition. On Roman's last day he was his normal cheerful self; he galloped around the house, played catch, ate yummy foods and then fell asleep on his favorite couch and woke up in heaven. Roman is survived by his great-grandmother Terry Mee, grandfather Leonard Payton, grandmother Lori Payton, father Timmothy Heath, Jr., mother Hannah Heath, siblings Angelina, Adelaide, Katriel, Ezekiel, and Theodora and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Roman attended the PALS program at BOCES in Binghamton where he received support and care from wonderful staff. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Owego where he was loved dearly. He is now a member of the church triumphant and has been made whole and healthy thanks to Jesus Christ who died and rose for him. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Zion Lutheran Church, 3917 Waverly Road, Owego, New York. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin, New York. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Full obituary will appear when completed.
