My very sincerest condolences go out to the Buckthal family, but even more is my regret that every person that ever knew Pete will no longer have the privilege of enjoying his humor, antics, wisdom and kindness. He was perhaps the finest example of what a man should strive to be. I was blessed with the opportunity to have known him and learned from him.

To Buckthal Family, I work at Sayre Health Care Center (Activity Aide) and I feel so blessed to get to know Pete. My favorite memory was when we had a local band come in to entertain one evening and Pete sat in his chair just outside of the livingroom. I stood beside him and he would take my hands and we would sway back and forth as to be dancing to the music. He had a big smile on his face the entire time. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
