Charles “Chuck” Van Dokkenburg, 81, of Lounsberry, New York, died unexpectedly, Friday, August 12, 2016, at home. Mr. Van Dokkenburg is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Charles Eick; two sons, Gary and Brad Van Dokkenburg; “Grandpa Truck” to his four grandchildren, Andrew and his wife, Megan Miller, Tyler Eick, Emily Eick, Kayla Van Dokkenburg; great grandson, Matthew Van Dokkenburg; sister and brother-in-law, Midge and Neil Telgen; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3732 Waverly Road, Owego, NY. with his pastor, Rev. Phillip Nase, officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at church.
