Obituary of Sharon Rose Campbell

Sharon R Campbell, 71, of Owego, NY passed away early Tuesday morning January 17, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. Sharon was born in Endicott on October 1, 1945. The daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Louise (Byers) Brown. She was predeceased by her husband, Jay Campbell, her stepfather, Oscar Luther, one brother, John Brown, and one sister, Norma S. Brown; special cousins, Jack Cornett, Leo Cornett, Jean Ackerman, Lois Beavan and Margaret Kishpaugh. Sharon is survived by her brother in law, Joseph Langevin, of Owego NY; cousin, Charles and Bonnie Cornett, Florida , Harold Beavan, Johnson City, NY, Richard and Dale Ackerman, NC, William and Michele Ackerman, NC, Jane Cornett, Owego, Jean Cornett, Union Center; also several nieces and other cousins. Sharon was a case worker with Tioga County DSS and has since retired. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Owego, NY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with the Pastor Bill Kohler, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
