They say people come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Veronica was all 3 to me. There was a reason we started talking more recently. I had her wisdom and humor for merely a season (over the past year) and her love, kindness and friendship will be with me for a lifetime. There are no words that REALLY comfort those left behind but we do our best. My wish is that Veronica's children, family and friends can find some peace knowing that she loved and cherished each and everyone in her life. She is a beautiful soul who is dancing with Angels and watching over each of us. No words can heal the hurt everyone is feeling from such a special person being taken away. I worked with Veronica & she was one of those special people that ALWAYS lit up a room with her humor and jokes. It was impossible to be in a bad mood around Veronica. She was so funny and caring and had the most contagious laugh! Saying she will be missed is an understatement. She was always willing to help anyone in need, including myself! One day, I found a card on my desk saying “You are beautiful”. That is all it said, and it was from Veronica. The little things she did could change my entire week. Though my words are just reiterating what everyone else feels about her, it is just another reminder of the impact her and her life had on everyone she came in contact with.
