Mary Rossi, 97, of Apalachin, NY went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 17, 2023. Mary born in Taylor, PA to the late Nicholas and Julia Martz. Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Nicholas Rossi; four sisters, Barbara, Irene, Anna, Margaret; four brothers, John, William, Fred, Edward. Mary is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Florence Rossi, Joseph Rossi; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Rick Shiffer; four grandchildren, Julia Rossi, Lauren Rossi, Eric Rossi and Amy Ienner; three great-grandchildren, Alonnie Ellis, Sophia and Dominick Ienner; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Joan Martz; brother-in-law, Michael Manzo several nieces and nephews. Mary was a seamstress at Ben's Clothing Store in Johnson City. She loved to sew. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Elderwood Care of Vestal for the special care given to Mary. Funeral services will be held Privately at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Entombment will follow in the Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, NY.
