Obituary of Penny Mae Hiller

Penny M. Hiller, 73, of Vestal, New York finished her journey in this World and passed to the arms of her waiting Savior on Sunday, April 23, 2017 surrounded by her family. Penny was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Virginia Lunn; step-father, Lawrence Ferry. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Walter Hiller; five children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Cindy Hiller, Kevin and Lauri Hiller, Mark and Melanie Hiller, Colleen and Mike Darrah, Craig Hiller; 15 grandchildren, Cyrena(Kevin), Angie, Michael, Jay, Chrystal, Robert, Jennifer, Andrew, Jessica, Ashley, Cassie, Courtney, Emily, Noah, Ryan; numerous great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jane Lunn; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Tom Merrill; several nieces and nephews. Special Thanks to the Mercy House of the Southern Tier for their outstanding care of Penny. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with the Rev. Mike Eaton, officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
