Catherine “Cathy” T. Kurtz, 73, of Candor, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Cathy was predeceased by her mother, Catherine Peet; granddaughter, Charlotte Kurtz. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Kurtz, Sr.; children, James Kurtz, Jr. and Adrianne; Kevin Kurtz, Daniel Kurtz, Gary and Karen Kurtz, Cindy Kurtz; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Dawn Howe; brother, Norman Peet; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with services to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Services will be live streamed at www.emfaheyfunrealhome.com. (click on Cathy’s obituary). Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY.
