So very sorry for your loss. When my husband and I got married, my father was having a dry reception. Marsha had put together another reception at her house. It was such a good time and I believe I lose all my shoes there. I hadn't seen her in a very long time but the fun times we had are great memories. Sending prayers and hugs.

Marsha played pitch with my husband for about 15 years. I always referred to her as his pitch wife or occasionally as his other wife. When Marsha was being transferred over toOES where I worked every one wanted to know about the new secretary and I explained about how much my husband liked her snd how she was his other wife. Horrified my friends all told me they would not be nice to her because they thought she was “with” my husband. I assured them she was a wonderful person and her only interest in my husband was his bizarre method of playing pitch that so complimented hers. Needless to say everyone at OES came to love Marsha as much as Orlando and I.

I worked with Marsha at Owego Elementary and she made coming to work a pleasure. She was great at making sure everyone’s needs were met and she always offered a smile and knew how to make others smile and laugh too. She could see the positive side of everything. Family was so important to her. I offer my condolences to all of you. She will truly be missed.

Marsha was my mentor and my sounding board in the Women of the Moose. She was the sound of logic when I had much going on. I enjoyed working with her and hearing her laughter and seeing her smile and twinkling eyes. She was always bantering with me during trivia and I know I am going to miss that greatly. She always challenged me. I am so glad that we had time together during her last day on this earth. I sought her out to chat for a while and before she left, she came and found me and we talked for another half hour or so. Marsha, thank you for giving me that gift. I will miss you greatly. I will think of you often. To your family I send prayers for comfort and peace and understanding. Until next time, you’re in my heart.
