Obituary of Frederick P. Hoover

Pastor Fred Hoover, 72, of Apalachin went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, December 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Fred was born in Clearfield, PA to the late Frederick P. and Alverta Hoover. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna Hoover; their children and spouses, Paul and Rebekah Hoover, Mark and Wendy Hoover, Lynette and Spencer Marshall, Pamela and David Cantella; 18 grandchildren, Judah, Ephraim, Jacob, Emma, Izzy, Joshua, Allie, David, Maddie, Brendan, Andrea, Sarah, Parker, Hannah, Elijah, Noah, Cooper, Augustas; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Barbara Hoover; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Fred loved the Lord and followed his calling into ministry and helped establish Abide in the Vine Fellowship of Owego. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Abide in the Vine Fellowship, 1277 Taylor Road, Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY and Sunday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pastor Fred Hoover's memory to the Abide in the Vine Fellowship, 1277 Taylor Road, Owego, NY 13827.
