We would sit at your bar in the kitchen and you would have a cup of coffee and I would eat the orange for your tree…

Another memory, the time that we came to visit when my oldest son was little. We went to look at the pond and he fell in. You grabbed him and pulled him back and calmly said it’s ok, no worries. I have some clothes you can change into. We were miles away from his clothes. But you always had things for anyone.

Aunt Bev, thank you for giving me shelter when I was being a selfish teenager. Thank you for the love, non-judgement, and the example you gave of how to be a better person. I know your effect on this world continues. I pray that I continue to learn from your beautiful example.
