Ginny and family were key to our wonderful childhood. Mom and Ginny were cousins, best friends and next-door neighbors. We shared life celebrations, genes for longevity, and shananagins. The old neighborhood ain't what it use to be. Meet me at the "partin' line.
Thanks for the memories.

Aunt Virginia, oldest of the Village of Aunts that raised us siblings/cousins. Her quiet strength and resilience, laughter and sense of humor, her fastidious nature are among the characteristics that spring to mind. The house on the hill with the great swings, Raymond’s train room at the top of the stairs, the red bar stools that spun and spun (until we were told to stop), the can shoot, the cool old barn. The house in town with everything in its place, porcelain shoes lined up on shelves, sidewalk swept, siding scrubbed and a garage floor that you could eat off. She was always welcoming, always happy to see you. I know she will be greeted with the same joy and love in heaven and that her inspiration and spirit will continue through even more centuries down here. Rest in peace, Aunt Virginia.
