Obituary of Thelma Murray

Thelma Murray, one day short of her 91st birthday died, Saturday, May 20, 2017.  Mrs. Murray was predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Murray; sister, Flossie Jennings.  She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold G. and Soledad Murray-Salas, Robert and Ondra Murray; granddaughter, Jennifer Murray and her fiance, Jeffrey Marvin; sister and brother-in-law, Cora McGirt and Morris Harden; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Murray was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and retired from Willow Point Nursing Home after 25+ Years of service.  The family would like to extend their appreciation to the careproviders at The Homestead in Apalachin and Riverview Manor Nursing Home for their compassionate care to Thelma and her family.  Funeral services will be celebrated at 10 AM on June 9 at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St. Owego, NY.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, June 8 from 5 to 7 PM at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.  Condolences may be made to Mrs. Murray’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
