Obituary of Janet A. Poreda
~~Janet A. Poreda, 78, of Berkshire, NY passed away on August 20, 2017 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Janet was predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Mildred Gerbe. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Herbert Poreda; two sons and daughter-in-law, Russell and Kimberly Poreda, Scott Poreda; two grandchildren, Ryan (Lauren), Ashley (Adam); four step-grandchildren, Stephanie (Weston), Katie (Ryan), Christopher , Ericka; two great-grandchildren, Madison, Sydney; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Donald Roberts; special cousin, Nancy (Kim) Kiesow; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Poreda family residence, 533 Back West Creek Road, Berkshire, NY.
