Obituary of Beulah Sheffield

Beulah Ludwig Sheffield, 88, of Candor, New York passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Cheyenne, WY.  Beulah was predeceased by her husband, Duane L. Sheffield; two daughters, Susan Dunham, Brenda Sheffield; brother, Lyle Ludwig.   She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Letchworth (Geoffrey Letchworth), Wendy Sheffield (Michael Soltanoff); five grandchildren, Melissa Morrow (Scott Morrow), Derek Yeier (Lisa Yeier), Semeera Earl, Carrie Soltanoff (Patricio Estupiñan), Mollie Bertoni (Ryan Bertoni); six great-grandchildren, Tanner, Parker, Conner, Alaina, Imani, Amari; two sisters, Laura James, Joyce Ludwig; several nieces and nephews.  Beulah lived in Candor from 1953-2007.  She attended the Allen Memorial Baptist Church at the invitation of her neighbors, Rev. Urban and Beulah Cline.  Beulah worked at Tioga State Bank’s Candor Branch from April 1962 until her retirement, May 16, 1992.  She always advocated for what was best for “her” customers.  Beulah will be remembered for her love of her family, friends, community and any opportunity to go out to lunch.  A celebration of Beulah’s life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor.  Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Beulah L.
