Obituary of Marguerite S. Neira

Marguerite “Marge” Neira, 76, of Owego passed away peacefully on Monday, November 6, 2017.  Marge was predeceased by her parents, John and Philamena Solan; brother, John Solan, Jr.; sister, Martha Mancinni; granddaughter, Christine Bensley.  She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rick Neira; daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and David Bensley; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ray and Jan Neira, Rick Neira; step-daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Gary Lombardo; 11 grandchildren, Cynthia (James), Bobbi Jo, David (Chris), Joseph (Kristina), Brett Bensley, Brendan, Mason, Mariha (Cody), Mallory, Jennifer, Jeremy; four great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Sedlock; brother-in-law, Reinaldo Neira; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Juanita and Paul Gvazdinska; several nieces and nephews.  Marge worked for Endicott Johnson Corp. and Sanmina Corp.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marge’s care provider and dear friend, Crystal Meadows, Dr. Keith Nichols and the staff at Hospice at Lourdes, especially, Carol.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego.  The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marge Neira’s memory to Hospice at Lourdes, 169 Riverside Drive, Suite 103, Binghamton, NY  13905.  Condolences may be made to Marge’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
