Obituary of Helen Dorothy Steele

Helen Dorothy Steele, 95, of Owego, NY passed away on December 17, 2020 at Riverview Manor. She was born on March 17, 1925 to Clarence and Edith Steele. Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Chic (Catherine), Ted (Martha), Peg (Jim), Roy (Jean), Louise (Teenie), Paul, and Bobby (Dorothy). She is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy and many nieces and nephews. During her stay at Riverview she loved to be involved in all activities and was always making sure that the other residents were cared for. She loved the cats and kept treats for them in her room. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bobby Harris officiating.
