Obituary of Ralph James Walker
Please share a memory of Ralph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ralph (Hank) Walker, the man, the myth, the legend. Born March 15, 1938, died January 23, 2021 after a courageous battle with Parkinson. What we once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us forever.
Hank Walker was predeceased by his mother Iva (Cokely) and his father Lester Walker, his brother Duane (Pete) and his son Michael J. Walker. Hank is survived by his wife and soulmate, Kareen Aune Walker, his children, Kelly Seliga (Gary), Kevin Walker, Bradley Walker, Dustin Walker (Kathy), his grandchildren Jessica (Justin) Anderson, Kristy (Brian) Botsford, Shane (Marcy) Walker, Jordyn and Kaylee Walker and Colten Traver, and four great grandchildren Kimmy, Rachel, Logan and Mason.
Hank was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a Master Taxidermist who was part of a group that extended the Natural History Section of the Chi Mei Museum in Tiawan, a Master Woodcarver who competed internationally, nationally and locally, a member of the Catatonk Carvers Guild, and author. Hank will live on in our memories as well as in his writings, music, art and taxidermy. He was athletic, funny, proud and so very interesting.
A celebration of his life will be held sometime in May at Black Lake. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be made to Hank's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com
