Michael "Mike" Genovese, 75, of Owego passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Michael was born in Scranton, PA to the late Michael R. and Frances Genovese. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Maria Genovese; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Marina Genovese; daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Gary Sieling; three grandchildren, Caleb, Emily, and Sofia Genovese and two adopted grandchildren; two sisters, Marylyn and Louanne Genovese; several nieces and nephews. Known for his creativity and inventiveness in his self-initiated projects, he was a consummate design engineer, and loved to teach anyone willing to listen how to solve problems. Private funeral services will be held with live streaming on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com (click on obituary).
