Obituary of Mary Ann Estelle
Please share a memory of Mary Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Ann (Needham) Estelle, 79, of Johnson City, NY peacefully went to be with our Lord on Saturday, July 3. Besides her parents, Clare & James B. Needham, she was predeceased by her husband, William Estelle, III; her son, William Estelle, IV; nephew, Brandon (Bo) Jones. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Jones (Gary); nieces, Pam Benthin (Dave), Kristine Fiala (Paul), and Colleen Jones (Will); great nephews, Sean Patrick and Robert Paul.
Mary Ann considered pursuing a religious vocation with the Daughters of Charity but instead felt lead to share her gift of caregiving by becoming a nurse, spending most of her career blessing the residents of Chenango Bridge and Willow Point nursing homes. Despite many challenges in life, she always had a smile on her face, an optimistic attitude and kindness to share; always humble and grateful for all of the blessings in her life that lead her to be the thoughtful, kind person that she was. She found humor in the little things and was always ready to share in a good long conversation.
