Michael J. Sabol, 88, of Owego passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. Mr. Sabol was born in Swoyersville, PA to the late Michael and Mary Sabol. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Janet Sabol. Michael is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mark Hodges; granddaughter, Ashley Hodges. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an English Teacher for the Candor High School and was an active member of St. Patrick's Church, Owego. Family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Elizabeth Church Manor for the care provided to Michael. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Route 17C, Owego, NY. Condolences may be made to Michael's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
