Linda Louise Lyon Bishop, 72, of Candor, NY passed away on January 24, 2022 at home with her family by her side. She was born on August 16, 1949 in Endicott, NY to General Clayton and Eleanor Louise Thompson Lyon. Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, James Nathaniel Bishop, Sr.; two great granddaughters, Aleceia and Natalie. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Eleanor Louise Bishop Crane (Cyle) of Candor, General Bishop of Candor, Linda Bishop Sedlák (Peter) of Horseheads, James Nathaniel Bishop, Jr. (Shirley) of Apalachin, and Mark Bishop (Amy) of Florida; brother, Jerry Lyon; grandchildren, Genelle Bishop, Nathaniel Crane, Cody Crane, Tammy Crane Brookes (Matt), Alicia Monroe Christensen (Tyson), Isaac Hults (Beth), Ilona Hults, Shannon Bishop McCoy, Adam Bishop, Aszur Bishop Morgan (Dave) and Mason Bishop; great grandchildren, Collin, Cylee, Jace, Eliza, Essance, Wyatt, Levi, Malachi, Zevan, Jameson, Katarae, Quinn, Brianna, Caleb, Heather, Nathaniel, McKenzie, Laurali, Kolina and Carter; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation and funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
