Obituary of Gloria Lynn Bidwell

Gloria L. Bidwell, 73, of Owego unexpectedly passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Ruth Neild; brother, George Neild. She is survived by her husband of 51+ years, Edward Bidwell; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gwenda Ward, Greta and Tom Craven, Gabrielle and Scott Gurney; five grandchildren, Bryan and Branden Ward, Samuel, Kendra and Alexander Gurney; two sisters and brother-in-law, Georgia Gould, Gayle and Russell Gates; brother and sister-in-law, Garth and JoAnne Neild; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Gloria graduated from Candor High School and immediately went to work for IBM. She later retired from IBM and Lockheed Martin in Owego. Gloria was a member of the Owego Fire Auxiliary, American Legion Post #401 Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the VFW Post #1371 Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Services will be live streamed at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Gloria L.
