Obituary of Lawrence E. Turner

Lawrence "Larry" Turner, 90, of Barton, NY passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Elvin and Viola Turner; his wife, Annetta Turner; son, Larry Turner; granddaughter, Amy Jo Williams; infant sister, Sarah. Larry is survived by his three daughters and son-in-law, Sally and Fred Williams, Mary Thompson, Barbara Dixson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Verna Tomassetti, Marion and David Walborn; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Larry graduated from OFA class of 1950. He later went onto Broome Community College and later retired from McFarland and Johnson Engineers of Binghamton as a structural Engineer. Larry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was extremely proud to be the Patriarch of five generations of Turners. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Burial will be in the Woodbridge Cemetery, Catatonk, NY.
