Virginia "Ginny" Walker, 98, of Candor, NY, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022. Mrs.Walker was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Robert W. Walker; two brothers, William and Harold Doane; granddaughter, Sherry Lawson. Ginny is survived by her three children and their spouses, Gloria and Richard Tubbs, Kathleen and Joseph Deyulio; Roberta and Pastor Frank Halas; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Casey; two sisters-in-law, Norma Doane, Ruth Dinmore; brother-in-law, Earl Walker; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
