Obituary of Ralph Alexander Whitmarsh

Ralph A. Whitmarsh, Sr., 63, of Van Etten, NY passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Thelma Whitmarsh; sister, Juanita Bennett; two brothers, Robert and Richard Whitmarsh; infant son, Donald E. Whitmarsh; granddaughter, Hazel Spencer. Ralph is survived by his partner, Betty Whitmarsh; four children, Ralph Whitmarsh, James Whitmarsh, Bobbie Jo Whitmarsh, April Whitmarsh; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Violet, Alexandria; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Lenny Schmidt; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Pat and Bobbie Jo Whitmarsh, Douglas and Andrea Whitmarsh; Emerise Whitmarsh, Rebecca Whitmarsh; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ralph was an avid hunter, fisher and camper. The family will receive friends, Monday, August 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
