Violet "Vi" Swift Geller, 92, of Owego, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. Violet was predeceased by her parents, Otis and Virgie Swift; three sisters, Vivian Osborn, Virginia Coons, Marie Taylor; two grandchildren, Scott and Carrie Geller. Mrs. Geller is survived by her husband of 71 years, David A. Geller; her children: David P. (Geraldine) Geller of Stuart, FL, Marcia Werther (Paul) of Mendham, NJ, and Michael Geller (Philip Fornaci) of Washington, DC, four grandchildren: Lauren Hayes (Eric) of Jersey City, NJ, Cristen Gonzalez (Horacio) of Los Angeles, CA, Gregory Werther (Stephanie Groothaert) of Delray Beach, FL, and Brian Geller of Sanford, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Violet was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Owego, NY where she served on the Altar Guild and belonged to The Episcopal Church Women. Violet worked as a bookkeeper for the Owego National Bank for many years. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, September 9th from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY. Funeral services will be held on 11:00 am on Saturday, September 10 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 117 Main Street, Owego, NY. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Violet's name to St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Condolences may be made to Violet's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
