George D. Baker, 81, of Willseyville, NY passed away peacefully, Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022 at home surrounded by family. George was predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Dawn Baker; his companion of 29 years, Joy Siesto; two brothers, William and Stanley Baker; sister, Carrie Himko. He is survived by his five children, Jennie Oltz, Sandie Baker, Diane Courtney, Betty Jo "Joey" Hartman, Debby and Mark David; 10 grandchildren, Tanya, Annaliese, Lindsay, Aidan, Shyann, Bradley, Julie, David, Holly, Erica; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Fred Baker, Jr., Roy "James" Baker, Donna Boles, Lillian Slade, Robert Baker; several nieces, nephews and cousins. George retired as a Master Journeyman Maintenance Machinist from Borg-Warner, Ithaca, NY. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Hill Cemetery, Ithaca, NY.
