George I. Reese, 83, of Owego passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022. George was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Eunice Reese; sister, Martha Machen; brother, Ernest Reese. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandra Reese; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Hope Reese; daughter, Barbara Reese; two grandchildren, Kyla and Malia Reese; great-grandson, Rowan; brother, Wilber Reese; several nieces, nephews and cousins. George was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and a life member of Ahwaga Ladder Co. #5. He worked many years for Crown Industries and later Moore & Steele of Owego. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY. Condolences may be made to George's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
