Obituary of Kirk Ellis

Kirk Ellis, 79, of Nichols, New York passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Kirk was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mavis (VanBuskirk) Ellis. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita Ellis; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Mozgawa; three grandchildren, Matthew Michael Mozgawa, Samantha Jean Mozgawa, Kristie Marie and Robert Clark; great-grandchild, Attius Clark. Kirk retired from C & C Sand and Gravel. He enjoyed antique tractors and steam engines and was a member of the Bradford County Old Timers. The family will receive friends Monday, November 28, 2022 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with the Rev. Trula Hollywood, officiating. Burial will be in the Nichols Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Kirk's memory to Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepherd Rd, Waverly, NY 14892.
