Florence Kuchinski, 90, of Owego, NY passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 surrounded by her family. Florence was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Kuchinski, Sr.; son, David Kuchinski; brother and sister-in-law, George and Judy Schwentner; brother-in-law, Stanley Kumiega. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph, Jr. and Lora Kuchinski, James and Jodie Kuchinski; eight grandchildren, Andrea, Samantha, Joseph, Michael, Luke, Josh, Amanda, Ashley; sister, Marie Kumiega; brother-in-law, Chester Kuchinski; sister-in-law, Beradine Kuchinski; several nieces and nephews. Florence, Flo, Flossy, was an avid golfer who loved working with ceramics. She was always the first person to greet you with a smile and "hello" when you walked into Dr. Collella's office, where she retired. Her loving and caring personality were just a few of her many qualities that made her a pleasure to be around. She loved to cook and bake with her mom and family, often having marathon sessions making homemade nut and poppyseed breads and perogies. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY with the Rev. Jeffrey Galens, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
