Ronald "Ron" L. Gregg, 64, of Candor, NY passed away surrounded by his family, Sunday, January 29, 2023. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Barbara Gregg; brother, Gary Gregg; infant granddaughter, Sophia Gregg. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Gregg; three children and their spouses, Jennifer and Stan Foster, Jarred and Stephanie Gregg, Elizabeth Gregg; two grandchildren, Emily and Emerson Foster and a soon to be second grandson; brother and sister-in-law, William and Claudia Gregg; three sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Gregg, Laurie and Mike Moore, Kathleen Gregg-O'Rourke; several nieces, nephews and cousins; mother in law, Helen Legge; several brothers and sisters in law. Ron was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy. He excelled at working and volunteering as a paramedic for numerous emergency agencies. His pride and joy was his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 PARK ST., OWEGO, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 7th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be made to Ron's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
