David R. Shaylor, 76, of Willseyville, NY unexpectedly passed away Monday, February 13, 2023. David was predeceased by his parents, George and Mabel (Studevant) Shaylor; son, Jason Paxson; several brothers and sisters. Dave is survived by his wife, Anna Shaylor; three children, Michelle Paxson, David Shaylor, Chad Shaylor; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Brown; brother, Thomas "Pete" Shaylor; several nieces and nephews. Dave was very proud of his Cherokee Indian Heritage. He worked many years for New York State DOT. The family will receive friend on Friday, February24, 2023 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor with Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY. Condolences may be made to Dave's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
