Obituary of Catherine Helen Guido

Catherine Guido, 69, formerly of Owego, NY passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in Reading, PA. Catherine was born in Watertown, NY to the late James V. and Marianna (Niece) Guido. Along with her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her brother, James Guido; sister, Frances Guido. Catherine earned her undergraduate degree from SUNY, Binghamton in 1974, and her law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1977. She was the Managing Attorney for the Pottstown branch of Legal Aid of Southeastern PA for many years, retiring in August of 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 300 Main Street, Owego, NY with the Rev. Jeffrey Galens, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego, NY in the spring. There will be no calling hours. The Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
