Stephen Weisz, 68, of Candor, NY passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. Steve was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Alberta Weisz; two brothers, David and Daniel Weisz; son, Chris Weisz. He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Marj Weisz; son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Ane Weisz; five grandchildren, Robyn, Maxwell, Grace, Jasper, Vesper; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Mike Medovich, Debbie and Chris Young; sister-in-law, Laura Weisz; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Steve graduated from Candor High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Binghamton University and worked as an designer/estimator. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 PARK ST., OWEGO, NY. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Steve's memory to the Stephen Weisz Scholarship Fund.
