William "Bill" Beckenhaupt, Jr., 78, of Owego, NY, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Bill was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Miriam Beckenhaupt. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Beckenhaupt; four children; William and his wife, Gayle Beckenhaupt; Diana Beckenhaupt, David Beckenhaupt, Molly Beckenhaupt; three grandchildren, Kayleigh, Anneliese, McKenna. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a Stationary Engineer with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Owego. Funeral services will be held on August 1, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, 3917 Waverly Road, Owego, NY with Pastor Timm Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY. Condolences may be made to Bill's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
