Obituary of Barbara G. Orendorff

Barbara G. Orendorff, 84, of Owego passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Eva (Bishop) Haner; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Sally Haner; two husbands, Edward Woodard and the love of her life, Paul Orendorff. Barbara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce "Joy" and James "Jim" Rice; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward "Ed" Woodard and Kelly Zimmer, Albert "Abe" and Christian "Pepper" Woodard; step-daughter, Paula and her husband, Kenny Demeree; 11 grandchildren, Hillary, Justin, Eddie, Mike, Chelsea, Davey, Dan, Geoff, Chris, Jessica, Geoffrey; six great-grandchildren, Emmett, Liam, Titan, Caroline, Abigail, Greyson; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Barbara retired as a nurse's aide from the Riverview Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with the Pastor Charles Bazile of the Mountain Bible Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Gibson Corners Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
