Susan E. Porter, 73, of Owego, NY, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Susan was predeceased by her mother, Elaine Velia. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Terry Porter; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Ann Marie Velia; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Susan was one of the founding members of Abide in the Vine Fellowship and worked many years for the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with the Rev. Donna Hoover, officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the services at funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan E. Porter's memory to Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepherd Road, Waverly, NY 14892. Condolences may be made to Susan's family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
