Obituary of Barbara Hinchcliffe

Barbara Joan Hinchcliffe, 89, formerly of Candor, NY and Dade City, FL., passed peacefully on August 23rd 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Barbara was born in Sidney, NY to the late Jacob and Marie Brenneis. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her two husbands, Robert Parsons, Alfred Hinchcliffe; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Emmitt Killmeier; brother, Jack Brenneis. Barbara is survived by her two step-children, Barbara Jacobs, Richard Hinchcliffe; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three siblings and their spouses, Jim and Cheryl Brenneis, Sharon and Mort Rathbone, David and Laura Brenneis; several nieces and nephews. Barbara enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, and camping with friends and family. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, 11:00 am at the Tioga Cemetery, Route 17C, Owego, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara J. Hinchcliffe's memory to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760. The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
