Obituary of Anthony Mark Middendorf

Anthony "Tony" Middendorf, 70, of Owego, NY passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023. Tony was predeceased by his parents, Gerald Middendorf and Rita Middendorf Lupold; three sisters, Virginia Sullivan, Mary Stetson, Judith Morgan. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Brenda Middendorf; six children, Brian Doty, Lyndell and John Miller, Joe and Elizabeth Doty, Anthony and Tiffany Middendorf, Mark and Julie Middendorf, Nicole Middendorf; 16 grandchildren, Hope, Nathan, Joey, Julia, Grace, Stella, Ephriam, Mark, Lilly, Ivy, AJ, Ty, Alex, Lexi, Natalie, Ralph; with two great-grandchildren on the way; siblings, Gerald "Bill" and Kathleen Middendorf, Elizabeth and Gerald Pencek, Robert Middendorf, Wayne and Cindy Middendorf, Dennis and JoAnn Middendorf, Matthew Middendorf; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had a great passion for racing and tinkering with cars. He owned and operated Middendorf Auto, Middendorf Auto Sales and Service, Middendorf Auto Salvage and Germany Hill Golf Course. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery.
