Margaret Ann "Maggie Ann" Liberatore Obituary

Margaret Ann (Raitt) Liberatore, 87, of Apalachin, NY, passed away November 2nd 2023, surrounded by her loving children. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Liberatore; her parents, Kathleen and Donald Raitt; two sisters, Rose Marie "Ree" Raitt, Mary Nancy Coveleski; many beloved sister-in-law and brother-in-law. She is survived by her children, Donna and Tony Frederick, Karen and Gail Liberatore, Rick Liberatore, Tricia Liberatore, Jim and Isabelle Liberatore, Amy and John Rozmer' four grandchildren, Eric (Kelly) Frederick, Erin (Kyle) Jacobs, Amanda Rozmer (Eric), Nicholas Rozmer; six great grandchildren-Barret, Elija, Beckett, Brodie, Baylor, Archer. Margaret loved family gatherings with lots of picture taking. She loved photography, flower gardening and her many cats. She was employed by the Tioga theater and then moved on to be a telephone operator for AT&T where she met her beloved husband. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church. Margaret's family would like to thank the entire staff of Lourdes Hospice. Funeral services will be celebrated Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with Rev. Steven Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Owego, NY. The family will receive friends, Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to Friends of Hospice, P.O. Box 638, Owego, NY 13827 or the pet shelter of your choice.
