Lawrence "Larry" Mieczkowski, 73, of New York Mills, NY, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Larry loved baseball and was a die-hard life-long New York Yankees fan. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Konstanty and Bertha (Chrzan) Mieczkowski. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Frederick Mieczkowski. Larry is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Lynne Mieczkowski; four nephews, Frederick Mieczkowski, Timothy and Tracy Mieczkowski, Joseph and Heather Mieczkowski, Daniel and Lori Mieczkowski; niece, Sharon and Kevin Hand; several great nieces and nephews, Charles, Kyle, Hannah, Morgan, Sarah, Griffin, Adam, Owen, Austin, and Audra and his cousin Kathy Ford and family of Clinton, NY. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with funeral services to immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with the Rev. Ken Kirkman, officiating.
