Obituary of Kathryn Louise Ketrick

Kathryn Louise Ketrick, 97, of Leesburg, VA and formerly of Vestal, NY, passed away March, 1, 2024. Kathryn was born and raised in Candor, NY to the late, Joseph and Susie May (Stevens) Sharf. Along with her parents, She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Ketrick Jr.; brother, Robert Sharf; sister, Gertrude Clancy. Kathryn is survived by a daughter, Kathy Ketrick, of Leesburg VA; two sons, Robert Ketrick, of Auburn WA, Mark Ketrick, of Leesburg, VA; one brother, Howard Sharf of Waverly NY; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Kathryn earned her business degree and worked as the assistant office supervisor at John Hancock Insurance Company of Vestal, NY, before moving to Leesburg, VA, to begin her relaxing life shared with her family and many friends she made along the way. She enjoyed her passion for golf, along with gardening, sewing, water aerobics, and was an avid reader. Kathryn was very active with the Lansdowne Woods Retirement Community of Virginia and for the last six years she spent her life living with her daughter, Kathy, and her dog, Chloe` Belle. The family will receive friends Wednesday March 13, 2024, from 10 am-12 pm, at the Estey Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 PARK STREET, OWEGO, NY with graveside service immediately following at the Maple Grove Cemetery NY-96, Candor, NY. 13743.
